What began in 1950 as a simple effort to unite people in service has grown into a vibrant, all-volunteer network driven by a shared passion for people, community, and shared dedication to kindness, service, and creating a brighter future Biscayne Bay Kiwanis Club brings together individuals who are committed to making South Florida a better place to live—one act of service at a time.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back and help kids unlock their potential, we invite you to get involved and become part of something bigger .
As one of South Florida’s most active and impactful service organizations, the Biscayne Bay Kiwanis Club offers many hands-on opportunities to serve. Our mission is simple: to improve the world, one child and one community at a time.
Here are just a few of the ways you can be involved.
- Chaperone field trips to museums, sporting events, and local attractions
- Lead educational tours of the Everglades for children in shelters or foster care
- Distribute school uniforms, backpacks, and supplies to kids in need
- Serve meals to the homeless and provide Thanksgiving dinners to local families
- Support disabled adults with holiday gifts, fun outings, and inclusive activities
- Join environmental cleanups to help preserve our parks and waterways
